Banzai Bowlin'

I recently flew over to LAX and visited for the millionth time my gem of a friend, Annika. We've been the best of friends for over a decade now and have been seeing each year in sunny California since the age of 10. Crazy how time fly's, huh!


Each year we reunite and catch up till the wee hours, laugh till our stomachs hurt and bake finger-licking pastries. We also show each other new trends from foods to movies to facial creams. 


This year Annika shared her latest obsession with me that has now become one of mine.

These nutritious and delicious bowls are filled with antioxidants that not only help you have a clearer complexion it's also filled with healthy vitamins that prevent a number of sicknesses. These Banzai Bowls consist of freshly chopped fruits and berries that are mixed with granola. But is this really a whole craze over a bowl of fruits? Negative. These mighty wholesome bowls have a secret ingredient that make them all the more mighty.

Açaí 

Pronounced: Ah-Sigh-Ee 

Açaí is a Brazilian fruit that was an Amazon-staple only for centuries but in 2000 a group of american surfers tried some and brought it over to California. It claims to have regenerative wonders, which makes it in demand.
