Saturday Morning

After having a great nights sleep I've got to ask you, do you love a naturally long deep sleep? Because I absolutely love it and with it being the weekend I can wake up whenever I please.

Candid: My amazing brother having a nap

You might not think that sleep can affect you in any other way than just your energy level but you would be surprised with how many other factors connect to having a good nights sleep. It's actually crucial to have at least more than 6/7 hours of sleep daily.

I've found six very important reasons as to why you should get enough sleep:
1. Learning & memory: sleep aids the brain's memory to contain new information through a process called memory consolidation.

2. Metabolism & weight: by reducing hours of sleep it can affect our weight by the hormone levels altering that affect our appetite.

3. Safety: depriving ourselves to sleep usually results into fall asleep during the daytime, which could result into an accident.

4. Mood: Impatience, irritability & not being able to concentrate are some of the symptoms that lack of sleep produce to our bodies.

5. Cardiovascular health: Sleep loss has been linked to increased stressed hormone levels and irregular heartbeat.

6. Disease: The immune system alters to a different rhythm because of sleep depravation, which could lead into a higher chance of getting sick.

So remember, get your sleep! It'll benefit you in so many ways & honestly speaking you don't have to do much but just close your eyes, relax and sink into your mattress.
