Sunny Weather

I am confident that great sunny weather makes everyone livelier and happier. It makes the world go round and seeing as I've been living in England for the past year now I decided it's time to really sit down and appreciate the shiny loving sun.

For a week or so England was lucky to have a beautiful sun kissed week where everyone started getting their summer on. I had never seen Leeds this stunning! Everyone quickly decided to lay out in the grass with a couple of snacks and a few books and live the good life laying out after exams.

As I love lying outside and soaking up the sun I thought I'd tell you a few reasons why you should do it while you can! Here are a few benefits that might just encourage you to get your sun on. 

1. Makes you feel better! 
Lack of sunshine can really have an effect on our mood and can be a direct link to depression. It also helps you regulate your sleeping pattern and improve your quality of sleep. Positive benefits!


2. Makes you feel healthier!
Two words: vitamin D. Apparently 5 - 15 minutes of sun exposure is just enough to ensure that your vitamin D levels are balanced. Lack of vitamin D links to depression, high cancer rates, diabetes and other horrible diseases so let's get outside!


3. Encourages you to be active!
The sun brings out the desire get more active, play and move our bodies. 


As we're now in summer it's the perfect time to get going and enjoy all these wonderful benefits of the sunshine and being alive! Go out. Enjoy the outdoors, be with nature, exercise and have some fun summer loving!
